"IT'S TRUE... I DREAMT MYSELF!

The world seems to be filled with more nonsense than sense these days. Instead of zeroing in on a specific political issue, the exhibition is more about poking into the buzzing everyday reality. At first glance the sculptures might look like those flashy neon signs, logos, and company signage. But they're made of sturdy steel rods, bent by hand, welded, and varnished. They look all soft and light, but they don't glow like real neon signs. These sculptures, as well as the tufted wall hang carpets, are both tampering with and paying homage to art history and popular culture. Most of the works holds a humorous twist, with slightly unpleasant undertones. By playing around with familiar logos, symbols and puns, this is an honest attempt to open a wider space for thought and reflection"
